UNDERSTAND YOUR OPTIONS
A closer look at your assessment.
Lead can be present in paint, dust, drinking water, soil, and other environmental media, creating potential exposure concerns for residents, workers, and building occupants. BNF provides comprehensive lead inspections and testing, including XRF testing, paint-chip and dust sampling, drinking-water testing, soil sampling, and targeted lead hazard evaluations, as appropriate to the project. Our assessments consider applicable EPA, HUD, OSHA, state, and local requirements, including the EPA Lead-Based Paint RRP Rule, TSCA requirements, HUD lead-based paint requirements, and New York City Local Law 31 where applicable, providing objective data to identify potential lead exposure pathways and support informed corrective-action, renovation, property management, and regulatory decisions.

to your final report.
- 01
Scope & Quote
Tell us the property address, year built, current and historical property use, building type, project type, suspected lead sources, known concerns, and intended use of the assessment. BNF determines the appropriate lead media, testing methods, sampling scope, and applicable requirements.
- 02
BNF Lead Assessment
Certified, licensed, or otherwise qualified lead professionals, where required by the applicable jurisdiction, conduct the appropriate inspection and testing. Services may include XRF testing, paint-chip sampling, dust-wipe sampling, drinking-water sampling, soil sampling, and other targeted lead evaluations.
