UNDERSTAND YOUR OPTIONS
A closer look at your assessment.
Asbestos exposure is a significant environmental and occupational health concern when asbestos-containing materials (ACM) are disturbed and fibers become airborne. BNF provides comprehensive asbestos surveys, suspect-material identification, sampling, and laboratory analysis to characterize ACM before renovation, demolition, or other activities that may disturb building materials. Depending on the property and project, applicable requirements may include the U.S. EPA Asbestos NESHAP (40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M), OSHA asbestos standards, New York State Industrial Code Rule 56, Connecticut requirements, New Jersey requirements, and applicable local regulations. For applicable New York State projects, Rule 56 requirements may apply to buildings or structures constructed before January 1, 1974. BNF's documentation helps property owners, contractors, and project teams identify potential exposure hazards and plan work in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements..
