Protecting people from occupational and environmental hazards requires systematic exposure assessment and hazard evaluation. Led by a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), BNF provides industrial hygiene and environmental exposure consulting for workplaces, residential properties, commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, construction projects, and other occupied environments. Services may include personal and area air sampling, chemical exposure assessment, particulate and dust monitoring, noise monitoring, indoor air quality assessment, lead, asbestos, mold, VOCs, and other exposure evaluations, along with data interpretation and control recommendations. BNF's work considers applicable OSHA standards, NIOSH guidance, ACGIH exposure guidelines, EPA requirements, state and local regulations, and recognized industrial hygiene practices, as appropriate to the project and affected population.

Portée et devis
Tell us the facility or property address, year built, current and historical use, operations, affected population, suspected hazards, exposure concerns, and intended use of the assessment. BNF establishes the appropriate exposure assessment strategy and applicable criteria.

CIH-Led Exposure Assessment
BNF's Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) leads or oversees the assessment, supported by appropriately qualified personnel as needed. Services may include personal and area air sampling, chemical exposure assessment, particulate and dust monitoring, noise monitoring, IAQ assessment, and evaluation of lead, asbestos, mold, VOCs, and other occupational or environmental hazards.

Sampling & Data Analysis
Measurements and samples are collected using appropriate industrial hygiene methods. Where laboratory analysis is required, samples are submitted to appropriately accredited laboratories and evaluated against applicable occupational or environmental exposure criteria.

CIH Technical Review & Report
The CIH interprets the exposure data and provides documented findings and recommendations considering applicable OSHA standards, NIOSH guidance, ACGIH exposure guidelines, EPA requirements, state and local regulations, and recognized industrial hygiene practices.

L’hygiène industrielle vise l’identification, l’évaluation et la maîtrise systématiques des expositions professionnelles et environnementales des travailleurs et autres populations exposées. La QAI concerne généralement les conditions intérieures et les expositions potentielles des occupants.
BNF peut-il accompagner une inspection OSHA ?
Selon le projet, BNF peut fournir des évaluations d’exposition et de conformité, une préparation aux inspections, une revue documentaire et un soutien technique concernant l’OSHA.
